This kit is for a good duner or drag race combination. This kit will work with all Stock Stroke Applications, and several stroker crankshaft options. We recommend using a Carrillo Rod Crankshaft with this top end kit. Head Porting, Camshafts, Intake and Exhaust Modifications, etc. are not required, but are highly recommended to get them most out of the engine combination.
This Cylinder does not require crankcase boring to fit the cylinder skirt.
*Please Note: Piston will require clearance work to clear the Oil Squirter in Stock Stroke and Short Rod Stroker (Hot Rods, etc.) Builds. Piston to Oil Squirter Clearance must be checked for adequate in all other builds. Minimum of 0.015" clearance between Piston and Oil Squirter is required. Please Contact Us or your Local Engine Builder / Machine Shop if you are unable to measure clearance or modify piston for adequate clearance between piston and oil squirter.*
