Hinson Clutch Baskets are designed to improve Clutch Performance and Clutch Life, Improves Heat Dissipation, Allows Clutch to spin true to create less heat when the clutch is disengaged. Hinson Clutch Baskets are precision machined from billet T-6 aircraft quality aluminum to aerospace tolerances, and hardcoated for five times the wear resistance to stock* (*with proper maintenance). Basket includes cushions.
Will work with OEM inner basket / pressure plate or Hinson 8-plate inner basket / Hinson Pressure plate.
Straight Cut Gears are also available. Straight Cut Gears Basket includes new Hinson Primary Clutch Gear and Hinson Primary Crank Gear. Hinson modifies the primary gear ratio from 2.86 (OEM Primary Ratio) to 2.81 (Hinson Straight Cut Primary Gear Ratio). This raises the gear ratios of the transmission slightly, and will spread the gears shifts out slightly. Depending on the current gearing you are using, this will require approximately a 1 tooth larger rear sprocket to maintain the same overall gear ratios throughout the entire transmission.
