Kibblewhite Solid Tappet Beehive Kit
This Solid Tappet Conversion Valve Spring kit for the Maverick X3 replaces the OEM hydraulic tappet tappet unit with a lightweight precision manufactured solid unit. By removing the OEM hydraulic unit, considerable weight savings are made. This allows the Kibblewhite valve spring kit to control the valvetrain at higher boost pressures, higher RPM’s and with larger camshafts. The Kibblewhite solid tappet is CNC machined from high tensile strength bar stock, heat treated, ground and lapped for a precision unit. The lightweight titanium retainer included is designed to house a standard 7.5mm lash adjustment shim.
This Kit is designed for high boost, high rpm, and or high valve lift applications, where the lightest valve train is possible.
Kit Includes: Beehive Valve Springs, Valve Guide Seal / Spring Bases, Titanium Retainers, and Solid Tappets (Replaces OEM Hydraulic Tappets).
This Kit will work with camshafts with up to .385" of Valve Lift
