Pro Series Pistons feature lightweight boxed forging. Forgings also feature additional bracing. Pistons are machined to have ultra flat ring groove (which improves ring stability, reduces ring flutter, and improves ring seal capability). Pistons also feature low friction skirt design.

12.5:1 Piston will work well with 91+ Octane Pump Gas. 12.8:1 is recommended be ran with 100 Octane Minimum. 13.5:1+ Pistons require 110+ Octane Race Fuel. Pistons are a 2-Ring Piston Design for lightweight racing applications (Same as Stock 02-08 CRF450R Piston).
*: This Piston is designed and sold as a TRX450R Piston Application, but they will work in the CRF450R/X application.
**: Pistons Marked by ** are verified to have large valve pocket diameters to clear +2mm Valves. If using High Performance Camshafts, Piston to Valve Clearance must still be checked to insure piston has enough pocket depth for adequate Piston to Valve Clearance.
