Pro Series Pistons feature lightweight boxed forging. Forgings also feature additional bracing. Pistons are machined to have ultra flat ring groove (which improves ring stability, reduces ring flutter, and improves ring seal capability). Pistons also feature low friction skirt design.

12.8:1 Piston is highly recommended be ran with 100+ Octane Fuel, but we have seen it work with 93 Octane Pump Gas, if the customer has access to 93 Octane Pump Gas. 13.5:1 Piston requires 110+ Octane Race Fuel. Pistons are a 3-Ring Design (same as TRX450R Piston), and have two compression sealing rings. We typically recommend 2-Ring Pistons for most racing applications, or other applications where customer / builder is looking for maximum engine power, as 2-ring pistons are lighter weight and have less cylinder wall friction, but 3-ring pistons do offer improved "durability". 3-Ring Pistons offer improved durability due to the 2nd compression ring offers slightly better oil control over after longer duration running periods on the engine (a 2-Ring Piston Design might start burning engine oil due to loss of ring seal / oil control sooner than a 3-ring piston design, as the 2nd compression ring does provide additional oil control to prevent engine oil from getting past the piston rings).
