Parts Replacement:
-Piston: Uses Vertex Piston Part #23640 or other 105mm Big Bore Piston.
-Gasket Kit: Uses Cylinder Works / Cometic Gasket Kit #11009-G01.
*Installation Notes*: With the increase piston diameter with this Cylinder Kit, Piston Skirt to Counterbalancer Weight clearance must be checked when installing this kit. A Minimum Clearance of 1mm (0.040") is recommended. Cylinder Works recommends the preferred method of material removal is to remove material from the counterbalance weight, but this does require disassembly of the bottom end. If you are rebuilding the top end only, material can be removed from the forward (exhaust side) Piston Skirt to achieve adequate clearance. Material Removal can be done with a hand held die grinder (Machine Shop not required). Modification / Instrution Sheet with detailed pictures of where to check clearance and remove material from parts are included with the Big Bore Kit from Cylinder Works.
