04-05 HONDA TRX450R HRC CAMSHAFT.
This camshaft is a great camshaft for the 04-05 and 06-07 TRX450R/ER bikes. This camshaft is a good upgrade over the stock camshaft for those looking for a mid-top range increase in a stock engine. It also runs very well in a built engine that is looking for a wide torque curve with a very good power band. For duners / desert applications, this cam is a good option in 450cc and 480cc high compression, ported, exhaust, and intake when you are looking for good overall power. This engine combination produces a very wide torque curve and good overall power, while staying very reliable. In 500+ cc engines, this cam will produce a ton of torque and pulling power, good for woods / trail riders that never have to open up the power on the trail. But it does limit top end power for duning / desert applications. The HRC camshaft is also a Honda part, so you can expect the same reliability as the stock camshaft.
As with all cams, we recommend valve springs with this camshaft (Kibblewhites are very good and recommended with this camshaft, Can be used with stock valve springs, but it is not recommended.)
