Multiple Compression Ratios Available.
10:1 for Turbo Applications. Piston is rated to handle up to 20 psi boost pressure and 400 HP.
12:1 for Pump Gas or Nitrous (80 shot). Piston is rated to handle up to 80 shot of Nitrous. Pistons can also be ran with Pump Gas.
CP Pistons have many features standard:
Features include: Contact Reduction Grooves, Accumulator Groove, and Double Pin Oilers. CP Pistons also offer oversized valve pockets with increased depth to clear oversized valves and high lift camshafts. (Valve to Piston clearance should still be checked in any high performance application to insure proper and reliable operation.)
Pistons can also be special ordered with Gas Ports, Skirt Coating, Ceramic Crown Coating, and DLC Wrist Pins for the optimum performance piston.
